We are not taking the snow tires off yet but we are optimistic that winter is losing it’s grip. Many of you have started to get your campers ready for the May long weekend event (or are thinking about it) and many have booked hotel accommodations. So now is the time for an update about Rally 6 and to ask for your RSVPs (please disregard if you are one of the 27 people already confirmed).
In addition to woodcarvers, wood burners, and crafters, the wood lathe room will be abuzz with turning gurus Al Jardine and Trent Watts. This room also has an area available for power carving. Al is bringing his rose engine lathe to demonstrate as well.
New this year, Keith Paulson will demonstrate the steps to make dove tail joints for boxes or furniture. This is an interesting addition.
And who knows what other pop-up demos, workshops, or displays may materialize (such as Georgia’s hand crafted books and the art of Calligraphy). Remember to bring your items for the ‘Show Us Your Stuff’ table.
Below is all the info you need for our free weekend event. Please share it with anyone who is interested.
