The annual wood show has been a hallmark of the SWG ever since the beginnings in 1978.
Every member is encouraged to enter some of their work. Beginners and seasoned veterans alike bring their creations to the venue where volunteers set up tables, apply tablecloths and prepare the displays for a public showing.
The Covid pandemic interrupted the show for a few years and now there is a renewed vigour to continue the show. A joint committee with the Saskachewan Woodworkers’ Guild and the Hub City Turners has started planning for a WOOD SHOW 2026.
