The Saskatchewan Woodworkers' Guild had its beginnings in 1978 when a group of woodworkers met informally to share ideas with others who had a common interest in working with wood. Since that time the guild has grown to include members from all walks of life, both professional woodworkers and hobbyists. Interests of the members include all phases of woodworking from carving, turning, marquetry and cabinet making to finishing and restoration. We welcome anyone with an interest in "woody" things to join our guild.

Classes 

The Guild sponsors classes throughout the year (Sep - Jun). A list of these classes is available at any meeting, or by contacting the Education Director (see Contact menu). Classes are open to members only.

Library 

The Saskatchewan Woodworkers' Guild library is open to members only. For an up-to-date listing of book titles in the library, please download the pdf list. We also subscribe to a varied assortment of magazines. We hope to update the catalogue of current and past subscriptions soon.

Mentorship Program

One of the main objectives of the Guild is education. This is achieved through demonstrations and classes held by The Guild on a regular basis. Sometimes, these demonstrations and courses assume a skill set not yet arrived at.  The mentorship is designed to help those wanting to learn the basics, as not all woodworkers are at the same skill levels, and we've all been at that starting point somewhere in our life - be it 15 or 75. Members can work one on one with a mentor to pick up some key information, learn basic skills, or even just get some help on where to start that first project. Membership List 

For privacy concerns, we do not publish our membership list in any part on this site. Any registered member may obtain an up to date membership list in PDF format via email by making a request to the Membership Committee. No member shall use or provide for use, the membership list for advertising purposes without consent of the Guild executive.
